Terms of Service

Welcome to Soccerlytica("Soccerlytica", "we", "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website at www.soccerlytica.comand related services (the "Platform"). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1. Who can use Soccerlytica

You may use the Platform only if:

• You are at least 16 years old, or
• You are a club, academy, or other organisation managing rosters that may include under-16 players, and you confirm you have obtained the necessary parental or guardian consent for each minor whose data you publish.

Direct accounts for individuals under 16 are not permitted. Scouts and agents must use the Platform for genuine football talent discovery and recruitment purposes.

2. Accounts

• You must provide accurate, current information when creating your account and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for everything that happens under your account.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that are used to harm other users.

3. Content you upload

You keep ownership of the videos, profile information, and other content you upload ("Your Content"). By uploading Your Content to the Platform, you grant Soccerlytica a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, and transmit Your Content as needed to operate the Platform — including showing public videos to scouts and agents and allowing them to download public videos for offline review.

You confirm that, for everything you upload:

• You have the right to upload it and to grant the licence above.
• You have obtained all necessary consents from any individual who appears in the content, including parental or guardian consent for anyone under 16.
• The content does not infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.

4. Public visibility

When a player signs up and uploads a video marked as public, that video becomes viewable and downloadable by signed-in scouts and agents on Soccerlytica. This is the core function of the Platform. You can delete videos from your dashboard at any time, and we will remove the underlying files from our storage.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload content that is illegal, defamatory, sexually explicit, violent, hateful, or that exploits or endangers minors.
• Impersonate another person, club, academy, scout, or agent, or misrepresent your affiliation with any organisation.
• Scrape, harvest, redistribute, or commercially exploit other users' videos or profile data outside the Platform's intended use.
• Attempt to bypass authentication, row-level security, signed URLs, or any other security mechanism.
• Use the Platform to send spam, malware, or unsolicited recruitment offers that violate applicable law.
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the Platform.

6. Scout and agent conduct

Scouts and agents who download videos or save player profiles agree to treat the data professionally and confidentially, to use it only for legitimate talent evaluation and recruitment, and to comply with all applicable football regulations (including FIFA and relevant national association rules) when approaching players or their representatives.

7. Club and academy responsibilities

Clubs and academies that publish roster data and player videos confirm that they have the authority to do so, have obtained all required consents — including from parents or guardians of under-16 players — and will promptly update or remove information that is no longer accurate or authorised.

8. Removal and termination

You may delete individual videos at any time from your dashboard, and you may request deletion of your entire account by emailing mj@soccerlytica.com. We may remove content or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe violate these Terms, the law, or the rights of others.

9. Service availability

Soccerlytica is provided on an "as is" basis. We work to keep the Platform fast and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and features may change as the product evolves.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Soccerlytica disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Platform will be error-free or that any specific scout, agent, club, or career outcome will result from using it.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Soccerlytica and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the Platform. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Platform will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) USD 100.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Soccerlytica from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of Your Content, your use of the Platform, or your breach of these Terms.

13. Changes to the Platform and these Terms

We may update the Platform and these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes to these Terms, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use the Platform after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of Accra, Ghana have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform, except where mandatory local law gives you the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence.
